Want to celebrate and participate?  Here are a few ideas to get you started!

Things you can send others

Fortune cookies https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TSkY0hSrnkuY-iBQmeWe_KonFvBMGlzE/view print out your own fortune cookie, slip a kind fortune inside and hand out – doing them anonymously is also fun!

A card or postcard in the mail

A kind, heartfelt email to: a former mentor, teacher, or anyone who has helped you in the past

A social media post (private or public) to somebody who you don’t agree with politically

A painting, drawing, poem, song or any other creative expression – send virtually or through the mail

Things you can do

Join us at Kindagious for a World Kindness Day Recess – https://kindagious.com/event/virtual-recess-11-13/

Put flowers or handwritten notes on people’s cars

Pay it forward at the drive through, coffee shop or anywhere else you go today

Start a chalk art mural and leave some chalk so others can join in and add to what you started

Offer to run errands for somebody who can’t leave the house

Have a social distanced visit with somebody who has been alone, or is lonely

Leave positive notes wherever you go – grocery store, gas pump, restroom mirror, the front door of businesses.  And if you don’t go out, put a positive sign in your front window

Have a social distanced dance party – outside, in your kitchen, in the car. With yourself or get others to join you.

Be kind to YOU.  Do something today, just for you – don’t explain or justify it to others
