Permission to play … you won’t regret it!

May 26, 2020 By

Who would have thought adults need recess too? As a self-employed consultant, I work a lot more than I play. I’ve  recently had the opportunity to spend an hour a week playing with others, and it’s quickly become the highlight of my week! Jen’s unique brand of creative fun brings much-needed laughter, silliness, and lightness to an often too-serious world. Give yourself and your colleagues permission to play…you won’t regret it!

I’m glad I did!

Recess was so much fun!! It was an awesome way to take a break, clear out your head, and just have some fun and laughs. I’m not usually someone to jump into group activities, but I was curious to see how recess could happen over a Zoom meeting, and I really wanted to support Jen, so I signed up.  And I’m glad I did!  I’ve been on 1 too many calls where the time drags…. not with recess!! This is an awesome idea, thanks for hosting these Jen!!

“…gradually bubbles of kindness were popping up all over camp and the energy was infectious.”

Jen (Jennifer) swept in to camp quietly and efficiently like the kindness ninja that she is. To a degree, you might not have noticed her, but gradually bubbles of kindness were popping up all over camp and the energy was infectious. She brings a warmth, inclusiveness, connection and KIND vibe to any gathering she is a part of.

“I left the Quest lighter, brighter, and happier than when I embarked.”

May 19, 2019 By

I had the opportunity to participate in a Kindagious Quest with a group of classmates . It was amazing to me how something so seemingly simple could really boost the mood and happiness of not only ourselves but perfect strangers as well. An unexpected result of our acts of kindness was how complete strangers joined in the cause. I loved seeing people catch the vision of what we were doing, let their guards down and join in. It was great to see how it made us reach outside ourselves and build social connection which has been said to  be is the number one predictor of happiness. Those of us who participated in the Quest left the experience lighter, brighter and happier than when we embarked.

“An incredible experience I look forward to sharing!”

The Kindagious Quest was such an incredible experience for me.  It created a beautiful opportunity to spread kindness with others while continuing to strengthen the bond I had in my Quest participant group.  I look forward to bringing it to the schools and organizations that I work with.
